I'm trying to create CSRs automatically by proviiding openssl a config
file like this:
[ req ]
default_bits = 1024
distinguished_name = req_distinguished_name
prompt = no
[ req_distinguished_name ]
C = DE
L = My City
O = My Company
CN = my.domain.com
emailAddress = [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Then I call openssl like this:
openssl req -utf8 -new -config my.domain.com.conf -key my.domain.com.key
and openssl generates my a CSR which I can copy&paste at Geotrust,
Thawte and other.
Now I would like to include additional information in the request. (I
know that it is possible to include the postal code, street address and
state or province name into the request.
But when I append lines like
postalCode = 12345
streetAddress = My Street 1
to the request, I always get errors like
14430:error:0B083077:x509 certificate
routines:X509_NAME_ENTRY_create_by_txt:invalid field
name:x509name.c:285:name=postalCode
Where can I find a list of all fields available within openssl?
