Getting a certificate and private key from SSL_CTX

Am I missing something, or is it just not possible?

The SSL_CTX_use_PrivateKey_file() and SSL_CTX_use_certificate_file() allow you to assign a key and cert respectively to an SSL_CTX. I have been hunting for a while, and I have as yet not found the opposite functions, to extract the cert and key from an SSL_CTX.
