Mathematics is an open-ended field on any subject for which
a proof does not exist.

Some 'great mind' may come along at any time and advance the
field.

Perhaps Jaze Lee is that 'next great mind' only now asking
his first questions.  No one can tell from an e-mail msg.

How innocent where Newton's initial questions when he first
turned his interest to mathematics?

No one should ever be discouraged from showing an interest.
They should at least be shown which wing of the library
to look in for the prior work on the subject.  ;)
