In my company we use NGINX+LunaCA3 to connect to a CloudHSM in Amazon.
My current setup in production is NGINX 1.6.2 --with-openssl=openssl-1.0.0r .
When I compiled NGINX 1.8.1 and openssl 1.0.1p, I started seeing very high latency in my CloudHSM, bringing down my cluster, and had to revert.
I suspect that that there is some sort of a compatibility issue between nginx 1.8.1 and openssl versions and im not sure which.
I tried to contact SafeNet for help but they say that LunaCA3 is no longer supported by them and they don't really have a clue about it and suggested that I approach you.
