Hey all, I have successfully rigged the tarball generation so that it can happen on a project's build slave. So that's a win - and hopefully soon we'll be able to make the slaves ephemeral.
.deb generation is going to need to happen either on the master or on non-ephemeral slave ... OR, we're going to need a decent solution for adding keys (both ssh and gpg to the machine where they are being built) For right now, since making a source deb is very lightweight, I'm just keeping that on the master - but I do think we need to solve the key issue at some point anyway.
