Anyone else seen a problem with kernel rbd when ceph isn't fully up when an kernel rbd mount is attempted?
the mount blocks as it should, but if ceph takes too long to start, it enventually enters a D state forever even though ceph comes up happpy. Its like it times out and stops trying. Only a forced reboot will solve it. :/ This a known issue? I'd agree that layering is probably the most you'd want to enable for krbd-use cases as of today. The v4.9 kernel added support for exclusive-lock, but that probably doesn't provide much additional benefit at this point. The striping v2 feature is still not supported by krbd for non-basic stripe count/unit settings. __________________________________________________________________________ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: [email protected]?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev __________________________________________________________________________ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: [email protected]?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev
