In case you missed it, the TripleO team is working on making the containerized undercloud by default during Rocky.
It means that any patch in instack-undercloud won't probably be useful for Rocky, unless you need to backport something in stable branches then fine. Anything that is new, has to be ported in tripleoclient and tripleo-heat-templates. Feel free to reach out on #tripleo if you have any question! Thanks, -- Emilien Macchi
