OpenStack Members, I would like to announce my candidacy to serve for first time on the Technical Committee.
Objective: I want to be part of the Technical Committee (TC) because I have all the passion in the world for OpenStack and I want to keep dedicating my energy and love to the most revolutionary opensource project of the last decade. I want to make OpenStack the best platform from the software perspective but also from the interconnectivity and operability sides as well. Experience: I have been member of OpenStack since April 2011, when I attended my first summit in Santa Clara and since then I haven't missed one of them and I do not want to do it! I am also part of the Neutron core team since 2012, currently focus on getting ready the first OpenStack Networking Guide! Thanks to all the support from the members of the Docs, Neutron and other teams. I like to document everything about OpenStack deployments and best practices for operability, some of my guides are referenced even by big companies like Red Hat: https://www.rdoproject.org/Install#Installation Vision: I have spent many hours operating and developing OpenStack and I think it can be better and better. It needs the right direction and the right support without having vendor-specific interest impacting the future of the platform. I want to bring the view of the operators to the TC. I want to give all this passion and energy to this committee to ensure that we all going to keep having all those great discussions every six months and many companies will keep transitioning their Data Centers ADNs to be powered by OpenStack. Leading one of the most challenging OpenStack adoption in the Operators side has given me the experience to guide the TC and the Foundation to the most demanding areas in order to guarantee the growing of the teams and our community.
