Hello nova team,
On behalf of the team working on Virtuozzo libvirt driver support in
nova, I would like to ask for a feature freeze exception for the
following two blueprints related to virtuozzo libvirt driver
(virt_type=parallels):
- virtuozzo instance resize support
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/nova/+spec/virtuozzo-instance-resize-support,
reviews [1], [2].
and
- virtuozo instance snapshot support
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/nova/+spec/ploop-snapshot-support,
review [3].
These patches are about feature parity rather than new functionality in
nova, they are quite trivial and don't introduce neither API nor
configuration changes. Being an implementation of absent functionality
in virtuozzo libvirt driver, they really add value for users of
OpenStack in conjunction with Virtuozzo or OpenVZ.
