Anne:

I think it's safe to assume that Qpid works for all distros. It's packaged in 
precise <http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/qpidd> and the wiki page on Qpid in 
OpenStack doesn't say anything about it being Fedora-only 
<http://wiki.openstack.org/QpidSupport>.
