Hi Jeremy:

Apologies for the noise on the Nova reviews... someone was experimenting with a
third-party test script and was triggering off openstack/nova patchset commits
(not knowing that Jenkins was sending review comments).

We have a couple of questions:

(1) How can we configure the Jenkins server that was submitting the reviews in
a "listen only" mode so that we can work on the test scripts? We've set the
Gerrit Reporting Values for "Verify" and "Code Review" (in Gerrit Trigger
configuration) to all 0's. Is this sufficient for preventing the Jenkins server
from responding to commits, or do we also need to blank out the Gerrit Verified
Commands (under the Advance button)?

(2) If we set up Jenkins to archive test logs using the "Archive the artifacts"
post-build action, will Jenkins automatically include a link to these archived
logs in the response to the review? Or do we need to somehow configure Jenkins
to include this link?

Thanks,
Dane LeBlanc

Subject: Gerrit account voting access suspended for Cisco Neutron CI

[Apologies to Mark and the Infra list for the duplicate message.]

It was brought to my attention that the Cisco Neutron CI service account in the
review.openstack.org Gerrit has been leaving test result comments on unrelated
reviews such as this one for Nova:

    https://review.openstack.org/71191

Further, the contents of the comment are unusable for any diagnostic purpose
(no URL to logs or other relevant details). Also, when I initially tried to
send this message to the contact address listed for the account, your
alln-inbound-k.cisco.com MTA returned it claiming "5.1.0 - Unknown address
error 550-'5.1.1 <[email protected]>... User unknown'".

I've removed this account from membership the External Testing Tools group
which allows service accounts to provide verification votes on proposed
changes. Please read and attempt to match the requirements set forth at
http://ci.openstack.org/third_party.html#requirements , then follow up with the
Neutron community for confirmation that they're ready for us to reinstate this
access. Thanks!
