Hey everybody, Over the past several months, shade has picked up a bunch of interested parties - most notably the Ansible community and the OpenStack AppDev Working Group humans. Neither of those piles of people have much relationship to the work of #openstack-infra, and the traffic level there makes it hard to have deep conversations about development internals. As a result, there is a decently large amount of discussion of shade that happens outside of the context of logged channels, which is not a great thing.
To that end, after chatting with fungi, we've created an #openstack-shade channel. The purpose of the channel is the discussion of the development of shade. Discussion of shade as it relates to Infra concerns such as nodepool should remain in #openstack-infra, and discussion of the Ansible OpenStack modules should happen in #ansible-devel. If you like thinking about abstracting away differences in cloud implementations, or have questions or concerns about shade, please join us in #openstack-shade. Thanks!
