And to answer this particular point -- I think both ops-data and tags
are part of the same "program": to provide metadata on the various
projects we have in OpenStack.
I guess the tension here comes from the fact that when developers say
"tag" they mean a data type (binary label). They don't mean a program.
So I guess we could converge by saying we are all on the same boat:
providing metadata about the projects in the big tent. There is simple
binary labels ("tags"), there is more structured information ("?"), but
this is all part of the same mission, and will likely be represented
together on the same website.
I can even see how the TC could end up providing structured information,
or the Ops providing binary tags. Like I explained in my original email,
those are two different-order constructs anyway. So the naming is not a
question of who provides the data. It's a question of the type of data
which is provided.
