As a follow-up to the recent development ML thread on scaling back release management workload for stable branches[1], a deep-dive discussion is planned to talk through potential solutions during tomorrow's Cross-Project Meeting[2]. Parties with a particular interest in solving this are encouraged to attend and help us make sure that we reach a suitable compromise between feasibility, simplicity and suitability for package maintainers and operators.
