That irony is not lost on me, and no ML management strategy can help.
Currently for a ops+dev discussion we have 4 options: start it on -dev
(miss ops), start it on -ops (miss devs), cross-post (and miss random
messages that are lost as subscribers don't match, or people don't reply
to both), or try to post separate variants (but then you have to follow
both ends, and your replies miss half the audience). We tried the 4th
option this time -- was a fail but then there are no good option in the
current setup.

Setting up a common ML for common discussions (openstack-sigs) will
really help, even if there will be some pain setting them up and getting
the right readership to them :)
