Hey all, I caught up with Stef at lunch (in fact, that was my first time meeting him), and he had an informative update: turns out the reason that the WebEx sessions have been cutting out is the DHCP leases have been expiring, complete with new IP addresses. He and others are working towards eliminating this, if possible (e.g., getting long leases, etc.).
As stated before, all these trials and tribulations are going in to "The Book" so we'll have iteratively better solutions for remote participants at each future conference.
