I noticed that too. 1.1.1 made some intermediate choices that are difficult to reconcile, namely throwing warnings that break tests. The None values that they sprinkled over 1.2 ironically help. Fedora is likely to ship 1.1 in F17, so I guess I have to deal with it somehow.
