Hi same, you can find out about it by using kpartx on the corresponding logical volume of your LVM VG
For that you run, from the server :
$ lvdisplay

you should see something like /dev/mapper/nova-volume/your_volume
$ kpartx  /dev/mapper/nova-volume/your_volume

Hi,

 I have a formatted nova-volume disk, if cannot associate the volume disk to a VM, does anyone knows where can I find out the volume disk format (such as ext3 or ext4)?

Thanks ahead,
Sam
