Just yesterday I spend 7 hours debugging DHCP - it was misplaced space in dhcp_agent.ini file.

One more place to see what happens is /var/log/upstart/neutron* logs where all stdout/err output of staring daemons is placed (for ubuntu - suse/centos are differ).

Hi,

I have a multi-node installation of OpenStack Havana, one controller node, one network node and at the moment only one compute node.

When creating a VM no IP is assigned by DHCP. It seems to be a problem with the openvswitch plugin on the controller node, it fails to start.

I also get a lot of error messages in my logs (controller node):

Any ideas? Do I need to set up a rpc backend?

I would really appreciate help with this problem.
