networking script means ifcfg-br-ex in CentOS? But would it not stop the networking?

One option would be to remove the line "DEVICETYPE=ovs" from the networking script. That will stop the network script from destroying the bridge on
shutdown.

Hi All,
I have a multi node openstack setup with one controller+neutron node and
other compute node.

As specified in this link:

https://openstack.redhat.com/Neutron_with_existing_external_network

network restart takes destroys and recreates br-ex which causes the
router's interface in the qrouter-* netns to be deleted, and it won't be
recreated without clearing and re-setting the gateway.

This means whenever I do network restart I need to recreate external
subnet and assign new floating IPs to the existing VMs.Is there a way I can
prevent this?

Thanks,

Priyanka
