Hi everyone,
For one thing: I just bought a Raspberry Pi 2, and I was and am amazed
that I can use openSUSE on it, in the form of the JeOS Tumbleweed image
(and stuff I installed from the repos since). This is amazing and thanks
to everyone involved in getting this set up!
Now for the "fun":
As I wanted to get my usual system monitoring scripts running on that
system as well, I installed rrdtool.
Running it, it surprised me by a "undefined symbol
glDiscardFramebufferEXT" in libEGL.so.1 - and of course did not work.
In the end, as this is a headless system where I probably don't need
working graphics, I decided to be daring and try installing Mesa-libEGL1
instead of raspberrypi-gfx and that did get rrdtool working.
For one thing, I wanted to mention this in case anyone else stumbles
over the issue. For the other, is this a known issue with raspberrypi-gfx?
Cheers,
KaiRo
