I always modify the default look and I use Main Menu instead of Menu Bar. I use only one bottom panel. I got more space that way, and it is important for me since I have 17'' monitor using 1024x768 resolution. > It does look clean, but too KDE like. I would say that the new Industrial icon set looks less KDE like than in previous version (which is still available under GNOME name in "Theme Details"). The thing I hate most in SUSE's GNOME is modified Applications menu which uses KDE icon sets and looks like KDE. It's really nice from SUSE developers to make all that effort, but there is no need to to that. Since this new icon set looks less KDE like (IMHO), now I like SUSE's GNOME better. I manage to set up "original GNOME" Applications menu by replacing /etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu which I took from Fedora Core. The funny thing is that on Novell Linux Desktop GNOME doesn't look like KDE at all. They even replaced Yast icon sets with GNOME ones. It would be very nice if we could see that on OSS.
