A proud decision, if you are aware that not even the apache from
SUSE-10.0 is able to deliver files > 2 GB. And the 10.0 firefox is
unable too.
ftp.gwdg.de will only be able to deliver this via rsync.
ftp-1.gwdg.de should be able to deal with it!
Yes. ftp-1 is running SLES9 - ftp, http, rsync are working fine with files
2 GB.
But anyways, the mirrors will be glad not to have to serve both.
This is just done by way of an exception, because the media (cd) change
handling is currently broken and installing from CDs thereby impossible.
With the upcoming Beta1 we will try to only release CD ISOs again.
OK. The biggest prayer is "not double"...
