as said already on friday, check the factory tree: ls -l FACTORY/inst-source/boot/i386/ total 127005 [...] -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 86638592 2006-10-04 10:20 root -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 16676902 2006-10-04 10:20 root.fonts the root image from 2006-10-04 is broken, any newer one should be fine.
