For what it is worth I used makeSUSEdvd-0.35-1.noarch.rpm to build a openSUSE-10.3-Alpha1 DVD (composed of CDs 1-5 + openSUSE-10.3-Alpha1-Addon-NonOSS-BiArch) which I installed using VMware.ex.p.build.39849 on openSUSE10.2.
