Hey Group;

I am kind of new to 64 bit machines- hence, my question.

I downloaded for the 64 bit machine a OpenOffice-file.tar
I un-tarred it.rpms and ran the jre.rpm file. I saw noting it but what appears to be a clean rpm load. Rpm -q does not show it as being installed. Rpm -q jre does show as I remember version 1.6 OpenOffice wants jre-32. I OpenOffice is telling me that it is a 32 bit only file.

Or can I just try it with a "--nodeps" argument
