I just found out about a Danish spell-checker project at http://stavekontrolden.dk
I wanted to yell at them for not (seeming) to work with any larger upstream spell checker projects, but when I dug into the matter a little bit I got a little confused.. We use myspell for OOo, right? Wikipedia says "myspell is the former spell checker included with OOo" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MySpell Which is the current one then? Anyway these people at stavekontrolden.dk seem to have a better spellchecker than our myspell - at least their *.dic is 50% bigger (please, no jokes), 1,5 MB vs. 2,2 MB. It appears that they've contributed their data to OOo and that it's on the OOo dictionary ftp-server. What should be done to have this spell checker in the distribution? Nothing, we'll snatch it off of OOo servers? They should contribute it to some other upstream project?
