There is a difference between providing updates and keeping packages that were provided during the normal life of the distribution. I'm not asking for new versions, just do not delete them, so that people that installed those packages during the life of 11.4 are not left stranded.
People that have it installed can keep it.. it's about freeing up resources by obsoleting out-dated versions... We will of course not uninstall packages from existing systems.
