Hi!
We plan to replace rhythmbox from the default GNOME pattern (meaning it
goes from the LiveCD and default GNOME installation from the DVD) by
gnome-music. The latter is a core GNOME3 application now, it works well
and fits in better within the GNOME3 desktop (granted, this is a
subjective claim) and there is little benefit of having two music
players + totem (which can also play all music files) in the default
GNOME set up. Rhythmbox will still remain in the default oss repository
for anyone who is dissatisfied with gnome-music and wishes to use
rhythmbox instead. Gnome-music will also replace rhythmbox in the
favourite-applications bar.

If there is strong objection to this change, please let us know now.

Best wishes.
