I attached and tried to set it up.  So far no luck getting any output at all.  
On my todo list.

I'm aleady passing

GRUB_CMDLINE_XEN=" ... vga=gfx-1280x1024x16 com1=57600,8n1,pci console=com1,vga 
... "

which was sufficient on a pre-UEFI, pre-Grub2 system.

Currently, on console I get only to

  WARNING: no console will be available to os
  ...
  loading initramd ...

and no farther.
