[opensuse-xfce] desktop widgets / screenlets xfce 4.8.x

Does anyone know of a good application that will allow the running of 
widgets, screenlets on xfce 4.8.x

I've downloaded and trying screenlets is there anything similar that 
might be a bit more up to date ?
