Hmm, that's strage, however I can't reproduce it. Do you use
multiple display devices, e.g. do you switch between a laptop
display and external monitors/beamers?

You could try Xfce 4.12 which is now available in X11:xfce (and
soon Factory), there is a new setting "Synchronize drawing to the
vertical blank" in the WM tweaks, see if enabling that helps.
