It seems that alsa is not working properly, but OSS seems to work. Try
to load snd_pcm_oss and snd_mixer_oss in /etc/modprobe.d/sound
directly.

Alsa is enabled in runlevel, but Via82xx is not there if a do a "lsmod".
when I does a "modprobe via82xx" and run alsaconf yhe sound is working,
but only to the next reboot, yes I shut my computer of.
