I have now made an rpm using the suse-spec and am currently uploading to
my repo [1].
It should be available within the 12 to 14 hours on ftp.gwdg.de.
It works fine for me too!
So anyone who wants this version of sane (2005-10-23 CVS Snapshot) can
download it.
I will remove this package again, when there is no need anymore for this
( read: when suse/Novell has provided a patch ;-)
