results in nothing - the command really doesn't exist on my system ;-)

locate vgdisplay also doesn't find anything relevant.

Hmm, on my machine YaST even runs with "vgdisplay: command not found" in 
the logs. I guess your problem must be somewhat different...

Again: If YaST is working now, compare the logs to the old logs where 
YaST was not working. Especially have a look at the section _after_ 
"vgdisplay: command not found" - I expect the real reason for your 
problem somewhere out there ;-)
