If that is possible, then by all means, please do. Wether this is going to
be ftp.suse.com or ftp.opensuse.org or that they point to each other is
uninportant.

One main thing should be possible. It should not only hold CD 1-5 but also
the future CD6 with the non-OSS stuff on it as well as all SUSE repo's

Having ftp.suse.com and ftp.opensuse.org as it is now is confusing. My
though behind it was to have clear seperation between factory (and
alpha/beta) and SUSE Linux.

In afterthought it is better to have that seperation on the FTP hierarchy
as it might let users think that openSUSE is only for developers.
