I agree there. If I want a full copy of the sources, and I have to 
download it, I'd be happy to download the appropiate ftp tree, and create 
a dvd out of it, for backup. There is no need to have a iso image in the 
servers and duplicate the space.

Of course, I suppose somebody could create a jigdo so that the dvd could 
be made if needed :-?

No, because the kernel sources we need are provided as a normal rpm. There 
is another source rpm that is used to create the former one.
