Just wondering if this issue was ever resolved. In kde with compiz as wm, whenever an application has to flash in the taskbar , i.e. a Kopete window when I have a message... once I have clicked on it, the flash remains there, the window is still highlighted, implying that it's urgent. It doesn't go away until compiz is restarted, or kwin is started.
