No - the available space on the CDs is limited, there can't be everything on it :-( Simply add the inst-source as installation source. In case you invent CD images that work with normal CDs and CD recorders and can hold 1 GB of data (or more), you are welcome to share your knownledge ;-))
Well, I'll start thinking about it immediately :-) In my case setting installation source did not work, since I was installing on isolated server in the Lab, that can't be connected to internet, so I had to download package to other computer and transfer it to the server on removable media. But seriously speaking, I can't buy this explanation. The package is ~7MB. CD2 uses 640 GB. No need to invent 1 GB CDs... :-( Now, if Russian (or other) localisation is removed intentionally, then it should be removed fully. There is Russian version of OpenOffice, myspell directories, fonts for X and so on. So why KDE localisation only? And if removing some localisation is necessary, probably it's worth some more thinking (e.g. Tamil is there and Russian is not. I am not sure there are more Tamil users?) -- Mark Goldstein
