Hi again,

No SuSE images are used...
I want to modify a Knoppix ISO mounting it on a SuSE system. I don't see why it
can't be done...

The Knoppix image already has in place all the needed bootable parts (just
burned a CDROM and booted my system with it to be on the sure side).

Anyway, I'll take a look at the SUSE Linux LiveCD Tutorial from the FOSDEM site
you mention.

The main reason for me to go for Knoppix (or any Debian-based) is that I don't
want a live-cd, but a live-usb...
I'm pretty sure that adapting the procedure to make SuSE fit into a
USB-pendrive wouldn't be that difficult but, believe me, I don't have time now
and this live-usb must be done ASAP... at least a rough approach...

Finally, please don't reply to me *and* the list... I already read the replies
when posted. Thanks!

MfG,
Martin

what iso? the live cd from suse? or our installation images? the later
dont have a running system on them.

and for creating a livecd with suse ... did you see that presentation at
the fosdem: http://en.opensuse.org/FOSDEM (at the bottom)

your assumption is wrong that our installation medias are a running
system.
