This sentence made me think 'Why should I want to be a man of
yesterday?'. Time goes on, all things change and we too. So I decided
not to install WordPerfect anymore. It's a nice memory now!!
I do wonder about WP in light of OOo finally making it to 2.x. Still if
you have an archive of old documents you can not translate directly then
your stuck with interum formats like RTF or some such. Shame about WP
though as I remember it was ahead of Word by decades.
As all my old documents were in .wpd I have not any problem to open them
in OO Writer. As I was able to add the fonts I used in WordPerfect I
even have no problems with that
