[opensuse] Default installed kernel

        I know the default is picked at install time, I just checked my machine 
and 
found it installed 'bigsmp i686', the machine is a single P4 1.5G , I wonder 
if this is causing me some of my little problems like my usb troubles??
        
        Any Ideas??
