I am needing some of those special characters not on the keyboad by default. I need the degree one the most often. I figured it's in keyboard layout (Suse 10.0 here), but am not finding both the map, and how to activate it.
I need to be able to type degrees and other characters online and in things like the word processor, etc, so I am sure there is a way to do it, I am just falling down, due to a lack of the correct search terms. Can someone give me a point in the correct direction?
