Thanks.  Was hoping I wouldn't have to configure that manually, but I'll
give it a shot. :)

I've added the winbind and smbfs services, and the file
/etc/samba/smb.conf.  I *think* this should be sufficient for a simple
client machine, but I'm not totally sure.  I was thinking winbindd kept
a .tdb file somewhere that would have to be switched, but I can't find
any reference to it in the manpage and I can't find it on disk.  Perhaps
it's only there on samba servers.
