Well, first things first...does the file exist in that location? You might also try running 'scpm rebuild' to clean up the database. I remember having to do that a few times in older SuSE versions where switching profiles sometimes failed in mid-stream.
Ok, the file does exist and I ran the scpm rebuild command. I did a reboot and chose the work profile and it still booted to the home profile, which was the last one that I was in. This truly is one of the strange ones, hit or miss. It works fine for some people and not for others.
