Well, it never was supposed to be a thread... it was just a simple on-topic post demonstrating that Slashdot is not anti-openSUSE, nor is it anti-Novell (as was suggested by someone) and that when /. makes a "mistake," they are willing to correct it. Nothing more. Someone else rudely made it into a thread... and the rest is mostly irrelevant history and some humor.
That doesn't prove a single thing. That doesn't prove that when they make a mistake they are willing to fix it. That doesn't prove that they are not anti-novell. That doesn't prove the fact that they are not anti-opensuse. That doesn't prove that they are not completely ubuntu-biased. And I tell you why it doesn't prove. It doesn't prove because it doesn't explain why in the last 4 months Ive hard more than 10 people complaining that they had sent announcements to slashdot about 10.2 release and they were discarded. While if someone hurt the shoulder or drinked water in the ubuntu front, it would get 10 news in slashdot. And amusing other news to fill the day like "Chinese Govt Limits Kids to 3hrs of Online Gaming". When you say you are going to prove something, you need also to do it. Its noth enough to simply say you are going to. Marcio --- druid -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
