The installation worked using a DVD, but when I tried to configure the graphic card, the system stops working.
Does it stops working completely or only GUI? That is: I think you should try to run your Linux in text-mode to fix the issue. When you see your Linux goes black-screen, type: ctrl+alt+F1 to go text-mode.
