There is a details tab. This will give you a clue to the command that
K3B generated (and some of the error messages) but it is not brilliantly
informative. Then try running the command on the command line and see
what you get. K3B is effectively a GUI interface for generation of
mkisofs, cdrecord and growisofs commands, and to analyse CD/DVD burner
issues it is best use these tools directly from the command line.

You do not state whether you are using DVD+ or DVD- format disks. These
have somewhat different characteristics.


I'm using single layer TDK DVD-R (Media ID: TTG02), i works fine on my
workstation with a IDE recorder.
