You can also simply go to a command line Geeko > Applications Tab >
System Menu > Terminal Program (Konsole).

>From there type first java -version. It will tell you which version of
java is running for your user.

You can then type rpm -q java-1_5_0-sun to see if you actually ahve it
installed. (You can also type rpm -q java-1_4_2-sun to see if that is
still installed.)

Also, typing which java will tell you where your java installation is
located.  You can go to that folder and see what is there.
