My /etc/ez-ipupdate.conf reads as follows: ===8<----- #run-as-user=<user> service-type=dyndns user=<my_username>:<my_password> host=<my_host_name> #wildcard #mx=<my_mx_server> interface=dsl0 daemon cache-file=/var/lib/ez-ipupdate/ez-ipupdate.cache.dsl0 ===8<----- Restarting this service: rcezip-update restart Shutting down ez-ipupdate done Starting ez-ipupdate done which looks OK, until: tail -n 20 /var/log/messages ... Jul 26 16:54:44 development /usr/bin/ez-ipupdate[6839]: malformed cache file: /var/lib/ez-ipupdate/ez-ipupdate.cache.dsl0 ... and the dyndns is >not< updated. Does anybody have any insight into this?
